STRATEGIC ALLIANCES
To oversee and establish strategic alliance needs in relation to delivery of R&D/TM agenda [e.g. delivery of projects and Secondment of staff]. Lead the development of an attractive and customized value proposition for engaging with leading research institutions. Additionally you will build and establish relationships with leading R&D/TM partners that enables the com[any to deliver on its strategy and positioned as a thought leader in the oil and gas industry.
M.Sc. / MBA coupled with advanced degree in a related Engineering or Geoscience specialty plus a minimum 20+ years working with developing strategic alliances.
SENIOR SCIENTIST – SUBSURFACE IMAGING
To plan and lead the design and implementation of all R&D and Technology Management activities for Subsurface Imaging consistent with Upstream Oil and Gas sector needs. You will also lead and contribute to the design of a R&D/TM roadmap for the platform- specific R&D/TM planning and delivery, designing and implementing the collaboration strategy, and providing expert level advice on the R&D/TM platform and its impact on the company’s business and R&D/TM strategy.
M.Sc./PhD coupled with advanced degree in a related Engineering or Geoscience specialty plus a minimum 20+ years working with Subsurface Mapping.
VENTURE CAPITAL
You will support all venture capital activities by sourcing and evaluating all potential investment opportunities that align with the company’s requirements. This will include leading the deal development, negotiations, portfolio management, deal execution and management performance reporting.
M.Sc. / MBA coupled with advanced degree in a related Engineering or Geoscience specialty plus a minimum 20+ years working with oil and gas business development, asset management and new venture developments globally.
SENIOR SPECIALIST – MATERIALS INSPECTION & CORROSION
Lead the identification of challenges for Materials, Inspection & Corrosion in collaboration with upstream assets and provide subject matter expertise in establishing the R&D /TM [Technology Management] roadmap. You will also manage the design and execution of R&D/TM projects related to assigned programs.
You will participate in the design and implementation of a collaborative strategy that enables the delivery of R&D/TM projects, including networking with strategic partners, collaborator evaluation and contract management.
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in an Engineering discipline preferably Metallurgy with a minimum 15 years’ experience in Materials Inspection and Corrosion.
SENIOR SPECIALIST RESERVOIR ENGINEERING [Tight Reservoirs]
To develop and manage advanced studies in Reservoir Engineering as related to tight reservoirs including modelling and presenting reservoir information to senior management. Mentoring junior team members on strategies and program planning for multiple major projects, project management and development planning.
M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering with a minimum 15 years’ experience in Reservoir Analysis, Development and Exploitation.
SENIOR SPECIALIST TECHNOLOGY IP & COMMERCIALIZATION
You will be responsible for setting up the overall Technology IP & Commercialization strategy of the International Research Center including proactively scouting for successful projects and technologies developed by the Research Center with potential for commercialization. Additionally you will support Researchers in filing patents, identifying best commercialization strategies and negotiating deals as needed.
M.Sc. / Ph.D. with a minimum 15 years’ experience in Technology IP & Commercialization.
SENIOR RESEARCHER – WATER MANAGEMENT

SENIOR SPECIALIST EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST
We are seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist who will be involved in identifying new prospects for development in Kuwait using current and advanced technologies in today’s market.
Minimum a B.Sc. in Geology with 15+ years’ experience in prospect generation.
GAS PROJECTS ENGINEER – TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION
To enhance the development of pipeline distribution systems and networks to customers and the existing Tariff system. You will also monitor and evaluate the quality and assessment to protect the major pipeline network.
Minimum a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with 15+ years’ experience in Project Engineering related to Gas pipelines and distribution networks.
SPECIALIST TECHNOLOGY PLANNING
Coordinates periodic updates of R&D/TM roadmap and assists in re-prioritizing and adding new projects based ion their alignment with current strategic objectives and availability of resources and capabilities [manpower, laboratories, budget, etc.]. You will develop R&D/TM management system to track execution of the R&D Roadmap and ensure timely and cost effective [within budget], delivery of the R&D/TM project roadmap while interfacing with all operators in Kuwait to align objectives and progress.
Minimum a B.Sc. in an Engineering or Geosciences discipline with 15+ years’ experience in Technology Planning and Development.
RESEARCH SPECIALIST – HEAVY OIL
Manage the design and implementation of R&D projects for Heavy Oil consistent with the needs of the upstream oil and gas sector in Kuwait. You will participate in defining R&D Technology Management plans and maps for assigned programs, including scoping projects and establishing program specific requirements.
Candidates must have a MSc. /PhD in applied Sciences, Geosciences or Chemical Engineering with a minimum 15 + years’ experience in Research and Development related to Heavy Oil recovery.
RESEARCH SPECIALIST – DRILLING ENGINEERING
To manage the design and implementation of R&D projects for Drilling, consistent with the needs of the Upstream Oil and Gas sector in Kuwait including participating in defining an R&D Technology Management for the assigned programs, including scoping projects and establishing program specific requirements for testing new technologies.
Minimum a B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline with 15+ years’ experience in R&D for Drilling Engineering.
EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
To lead the development of R&D/TM portfolio management strategy, guidelines and implementation plans while coordinating amongst all operators – the formulation of a master plan defining the optimal R&D/TM portfolio mix.
Minimum a B.Sc. in a Geoscience or Engineering discipline with 15+ years’ experience in R&D Portfolio Management.
WELL MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING SPECIALIST
To manage the design and implementation of R&D projects for Well Management, consistent with the needs of the Kuwait Upstream oil and gas industry. You will participate in defining R&D/Technology Management roadmaps for assigned programs, including scoping projects and establishing program specific requirements.
Minimum a B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline with 15+ years’ experience Well Management for upstream operations.
PETROPHYSICS SPECIALIST
Seeking a formations evaluations expert who has worked on multiple formations and adept at using current and advanced technologies for generating data on multiple developed and under development fields.
Minimum a B.Sc. in Geosciences discipline with 15+ years’ experience in Petrophysics.
R&D GEOPHYSICIST/ DATA ACQUISITION
Seeking a specialist in Seismic survey design and feasibility studies to model and evaluation of acquisition scenarios for maximum image quality, operational efficiency, safety and cost using recent geophysical techniques.
M.Sc. or PhD. in Geophysics with a minimum 12 years in Data acquisition R&D
R&D GEOPHYSICIST/ DATA PROCESSING
To supervise and administer in-house seismic data processing projects to maximize production quality, quantity and efficiency. Minimize turnaround times while ensuring the geophysical integrity of the seismic data processing results while achieving objectives. You will also participate in formulating and pursuing new ideas in seismic data processing while mentoring and coaching junior seismic data processing staff/ including designing their development programs.
