Electrical Technician

Located out of our Coronation office, the individual in the Electrical Technician role will report to the Supervisor Pipeline Field Operations. The successful candidate will assist in the safe, efficient and environmentally sound Electrical and Operations activities in relation to the pipeline right-of-way and related pumping facilities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electrical Journeyman Red Seal certification
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license
Experience
- 5 years of related Oilfield Electrical experience
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient movement of petroleum products within the crude oil and condensate pipeline systems
- Conduct measurement activities in compliance with company and other required measurement standards
- Day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical power systems and process control equipment
- Maintain housekeeping at sites
- Assist with compliance inspections
- Complete Station/Site Checks on a regular basis
- Participate in project implementation, planning and scheduling Initiatives
- Support the use of the MOC process
- Execute assigned projects to plan (budget, quality, and schedule)
- Participate in the district on-call rotation as assigned

As this position is identified as safety and security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol, drivers abstract, and criminal background check assessments with satisfactory results.
