Your skills and experience will include

• Site production experience in a large-scale mineral processing facility.
• An understanding of relevant statutory regulations.
• The ability to develop positive working relationships.
• The ability to mentor, develop and train others.
• Strong work ethic.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills.
• Consistent and visible safety leadership.
• A current C Class manual drivers licence.
• Tickets to operate forklift, bobcat and EWP’s favourable.
• Gold processing knowledge and control room operations will be highly regarded.

Specifically duties will include

• Providing support and timely communication to supervisors and colleagues in the optimisation of operations and maximum availability of plant equipment.
• Undertake plant inspections as per schedules.
• Data collection and completion of area shift log sheets and checklists.
• Assist in resolution of shutdown, breakdown or start-ups situations
• Ensuring operating parameters are met and adjustments are made according to set operating parameters and procedures.
• Conduct sampling for metallurgical and operational control purposes.
• Proactively demonstrate the importance of working in an organised environment with a high standard of housekeeping.
