Production Supervisor (Control Room)
Job Description
Purpose
Supervises monitors, control and co-ordinates the operations of productions facilities on the field. Controls the system through DCS on CSP, PP, UP, PGB, EP WIP 1, WIP 2 and CAP to ensure safe and efficient operations and ensures the Company’s productions targets are met in terms of quality and quantity. Co-ordinates the routine/ planned maintenance activities, shutting- down/ starting up of equipment to ensure that plant’s Operations are not interrupted. Implements HSEMS programs including ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
Control and supervises the activities of assigned personnel involved in operating the field productions facilities, including starting up/ shutting down the plants, first line maintenance, housekeeping.
Monitors and supervises through the Local Control Room facilities the operations of Oil and Gas production/ Water treatment plants to meet the Company’s productions targets in terms of quality and quantity.
Supervises the preparations of the equipment for routine, break down and planned maintenance activities as per established procedures.
Trouble-shoots operations problems and reports major problems and emergencies to Production Supervisor with proposed solutions.
Evaluates daily equipment performance, prepares productions reports and recommends to Production Supervisor for improvement. Supervises and personally participates in preparing the plant/ equipment for maintenance works.
Coordinate with Production Supervisor for issuance of hot, cold and entry work permits and isolations Confirmation certificates for all routine planned and break down maintenance works and track the permits issued in each plant and maintain the records.
Supervises and personally participates in re-commissioning of the plants to ensure safe and efficient operations. Monitors and evaluates the reliability of plant equipment and plant performance.

Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering
- 12-15 Years’ experience in an offshore oilfield production/processing operations , of which at least 3 years in supervisory capacity.
- Good knowledge of English language.
- Currently in UAE (MUST)
